What You Learnt... |
The Lessons... |
Physics can be used to describe the motion of objects and to predict what will happen to an object in many different conditions. In this unit, you looked at how the acceleration of an object is linked to the force acting on it and how this can change its motion. You also learnt how the motion of an object can be represented in graphs and how air resistance affects the motion of an object. You then looked at car design. Examining the different car safety features and how they protect the driver as well as understanding the distance it takes for a car to come to a stop. Finally you learnt about the different forces that act on roller coasters.
